This year 大年初一 coincides with Australia Day so lucky for daddy he didnt have to work. Unlike Singapore, there are no holidays for CNY !
We celebrated CNY the Australian way, at Bicentennial park. Thank God the weather was not burning hot (but poor me still got burnt!). It was a full day event from 12- 10pm. When we reached the park at 1pm, it was already packed with picnic-kers and children.

The kids loved the "petting zoo" (they fed, pet and tortured the goats! haha!!) and the free pony rides.

Treated ourselves to some
"heavenly" ice-creams. The grass was so clean & dry, we could sit anywhere.

The kids enjoyed running up and down the grassy slope. chasing the birds.
